  • ASCAPEX Academy is currently designed for students entering Year 7 in 2026. However, we also accept motivated students who will be entering Year 6 in 2026, depending on available spaces. Our long-term plan is to expand our programs to support Year Levels 6–10 as demand grows.

  • We offer structured programs in English and Mathematics, with the option to enrol in one or both subjects.

  • We go beyond content revision. ASCAPEX focuses on:

    Our sessions include structured teaching, guided practice, and engaging activities that build upon capability, not just grades.

  • Each session runs for 2 hours, allowing enough time for instruction, practice, activities, and individual feedback.

  • Classes are capped at 20 students to ensure personal attention while maintaining an engaging group environment.

  • Sessions are led by Monash-educated mentors with experience in academic support, mentoring, and working with diverse learning needs. All mentors hold a Working With Children Check.

  • Our approach blends:

  • Every enrolment begins with a Free Year 7 Readiness Assessment. After receiving your child’s personalised report, we guide you through program options based on their learning needs.

  • Classes run Monday to Thursday in the late afternoon.
    Finalised session days and times are determined based on student demand and location convenience.

  • Yes, subject changes or session adjustments can be discussed depending on availability.

  • We offer flexible options across Term, Semester, and Annual commitments.
    Pricing is based on a clear hourly rate and is discussed in detail during the readiness assessment consultation.

  • Yes. Families may choose upfront payment or instalment plans.
    Instalments include a small administration fee.

  • Yes. Families who enrol in English + Mathematics receive reduced pricing, discussed during the consultation.

  • Program fees reflect reserved placement and structured learning pathways. Withdrawals are generally non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances. All details are reviewed during enrolment.

  • A 1.5-hour assessment evaluating your child's:
    • English and Maths Foundations
    • Reasoning Ability
    • Study Skills
    • Readiness for secondary school

  • You will receive a personalised report outlining strengths, areas for improvement, and recommended next steps.

  • No. The assessment is completely free with no obligation to enrol.

  • A program recognising outstanding growth, effort, and academic development across the year.

  • Students who complete either the Annual Program or two consecutive Semester Programs.

  • A summary of content and key notes will be provided. Where possible, students may attend an alternative day for the same session.

  • Yes. Mentors offer ongoing guidance, and formal progression reviews occur depending on your chosen program (term, semester, or annual).

  • We focus on skill development, not rote content. Activities and feedback are adaptable, ensuring students at all levels progress meaningfully.

  • Yes. All mentors hold a valid Working With Children Check and follow child-safety guidelines.

  • Mentors are Monash-educated and have experience in mentoring, teaching assistance, and working with students of diverse backgrounds and academic needs.
